Canadian Inventions: AM Radio Print

Manmade Art

Where would the world be without the invention of the AM radio? We can be super proud here in Canada - it was invented right in Quebec by Reginald Fessenden! It is crazy to think where music, news, and all forms of entertainment would be if they weren't brought to the masses by the AM Radio in the early 1900s. Thanks, Reg!

This particular AM radio was inspired by the vintage Zenith radio from the 60s that brings back memories of crowding around your mother or grandmother's kitchen (or at least hearing stories about that!) belting out tunes or listening intently to a story.
