Bitters are often referred to as the ‘salt & pepper’ of mixology; a dash, splash or smattering of our Spiced-Up Chocolate Bitters a savoury and exotic twist for your favourite cocktails.

We also implore you to use Spiced-Up Chocolate Bitters when baking to give your treats a desirable chocolate-vanilla kick.

Top Shelf Distillers firmly believes in local sourcing. Located in Ontario's agricultural hub, they use ingredients from within a 1-hour driving radius from the distillery. They are committed to decreasing the environmental impact by donating spent mash to local farmers, initiating bottle collection programs, using recyclable & compostable cups, organizing spring clean-ups and providing power for electric vehicles. Each bitter is 1.69 oz / 50 ml

Here's a recipe to start you off

‘Gin Alexander’ 

Ingredients:
• 1 oz Top Shelf Gin
• 1 oz Creme de Cacao
• 1 oz 11% Cream
• 5 dashes Top Shelf Chocolate Bitters
• Nutmeg (garnish)

Garnish:
• Shaved Nutmeg

Directions:
Add all ingredients (except garnish) to a shaker filled with ice. Shake for 10 seconds and fine strain back into the shaker for a second dry shake (without ice). Dry shake and strain into a coupe glass. Garnish with grated nutmeg.
