October: Workshops, Craftbeer, Community

Fall is finally here and we're preparing for a proper Hallowe'en at Maker House in Hintonburg. Join us on Oct. 19th from 6 to 8pm and let Low Poly Crafts guide you on how to assemble your own pumpkin, black cat, raven or skull. Your creation can serve as a Hallowe'en decoration or as a stylish 3D piece for the home. All materials are included, but spots are limited, so sign up! 

Tomorrow, start your Thanksgiving weekend right and join us from 5pm-7pm at our Hintonburg location. We will be enjoying free craft beer samples from Big Rig Brewery and some Whiskey-Aged Maple Syrup by Kinsip –yum!

We'll celebrate our big #CraftChange donation to Somerset West Community Health Centre, and welcome our new partner, Parkdale Food Centre! Donate non-perishable items in-store and receive 10% off all merch at Maker House, this Friday only! You can have a beer, do some good, and save on that beautiful wool blanket going into fall.

Zoe is back! Indulge your senses and learn how to create all natural bath bombs. Choose your own scents, add-ins and join us on October 22nd from 12:30-2pm or 2:30-4pm. By the end of the workshop you will have created 10 mini bath bombs to take home - perfect for self-care or as gifts! All supplies included, but limited spots available, so be sure to RSVP! 

We are excited to announce a donation of $3,567 to SWCHC from sales at Maker House in July through September. This will support their after-school program for underprivileged youth.

We're also excited that our new #CraftChange partner will be Parkdale Food Centre. Through the months of October to December, part of all sales will go towards PFC! 

At long last we have incorporated a gift and event registry into our website! Located underneath “SHOP” in our main navigation and on the home page as “Wish List or Registry”. Take big events into your own hands and create a custom list for anything your heart desires. You can then share with friends and family – how awesome is that?

Located at the back of our Hintonburg Shop, you can now explore our sample steel legs, wood, colours, stains and finishes. Let your imagination be the designer for your next custom piece!
