Peace by Chocolate is an wonderful story about Canadian values. The Hadhad family came to Canada as refugees, after their original factory was destroyed in war-torn Syria. For nearly 30 years the family had created and shipped their treats all over the Middle East and Europe.

The family had a warm and famous welcome to Canada, as they were wholeheartedly embraced by the Antigonish community. Since then, they have rebuilt their chocolate factory and have been spreading peace since!
