ROOTS & REFLECTIONS: Guided Reflection & Storytelling Workshop

Pass the Sage (Tessa Belanger)

September 23rd
TWO SESSIONS AVAILABLE - 1pm-2pm ; 5pm-6pm

Dive into Storytelling, Indigenous Cultural, Creative Writing and Reflection in this In Person event to connect with yourself and others!

Join Tessa Belanger, Algonquin author, educator and founder of "Pass the Sage", for an intimate guided journaling workshop rooted in storytelling, reflection, connection and Indigenous ways of cultivating safe spaces.

Through guided writing prompts, grounding exercises and conversation, participants will explore their own stories, identities and experiences while learning about the importance of storytelling as a tool for connection, reflection and wellness.

This workshop is open to everyone. Indigenous participants and allies are warmly welcomed. You do not need any previous knowledge or writing experience to participate — only an openness to listen, learn and reflect.

This is an opportunity to slow down, put pen to paper, reflect with yourself and learn how storytelling can help us better understand ourselves and one another.

Each participant leaves with a guided reflection journal to use outside the classroom.
