June: Meet the Hintonbeasts

If you couldn't find all the Hintonbeasts during Hintonburg Happening in May, you are still in luck.

On Sunday, June 26th, we welcome Hintonbeast creators Artinjest and Creativision for an informative workshop on how to create your own beast using clay! We are calling out all monster makers with big imaginations who want to play with clay for a day. All materials will be provided, but we just ask you bring your wild ideas! Maker House Co. also welcomes all the Hintonbeasts back to our home this month for a reunion. The Hintonbeasts have been guarding their places so faithfully for so long, but this is the one chance to come see all 20 of them in one place, as well as learn all about their stories. If you don’t know what the Hintonbeasts are, check out the event page to learn all about them!

Start your Canada Day early by joining Malenka Originals at Maker House Co. on Thursday, June 30th as we play around with the many shades of red & white in the Annie Sloan Chalk Paint™ collection on some local wood. You'll learn a cool new technique for make a wood stain using red Chalk Paint™ and be introduced to some basic techniques for using Chalk Paint™ and Soft Wax. Limited spots are available, so please sign up soon at this link.
