Mosaics Workshop
ChipChip Mosaics
Join ChipChip Mosaics for relaxing workshop creating your very own mosaics!
Tapping into your imagination could never be easier! Discover your artistic side in a stimulating yet relaxing 2-hour mosaic workshop led by Tonya from ChipChip Mosaics. You have the choice of either two coasters, a trinket tray, or a small mosaic hanging using glass tiles in a range of colours and style. When we wrap up, you’ll receive a grout kit to add the final touches to your piece once the glue sets.
All tools and materials provided. All levels are welcome, so just bring your imagination!
Spots limited to 10 participants.

Hosted by Kon Korazon Designs inside the beautiful, locally crafted atmosphere of Maker House Co., this workshop is all about the joy of slow, sustainable making. It’s a low-pressure environment designed to help you unwind, work with your hands, and connect with fellow creative souls in Ottawa.

Carve Your Own Loon
Woods(wo)man Woodworking
Woods(wo)man Woodworking is excited to partner with Maker House Co. for two evenings of woodcarving in Ottawa. In this beginner-friendly workshop, participants will carve, sand, and paint their own wooden loon. Finished loons can be kept as a decorative piece or turned into an ornament or keychain using the supplied hardware.
You'll learn the basics of carving, shaping, and adding details while creating one of Canada's most recognizable birds. No previous carving experience is required, and all tools and materials are provided.
What's Included:
- All tools and materials
- Wood blank ready for carving
- Paint and finishing supplies
- Hardware for an ornament or keychain (if desired)
- Step-by-step instruction
Who Can Attend:
This workshop is open to participants aged 16 and older - Leave with a finished loon, new carving skills, and a handmade piece that's uniquely yours.
