You either loved it or hated it as a kid: Pea soup. This “thick as fog” pea soup has been known to change minds (we think it’s the bacon). One of the simplest soups to make, just fry up bacon or ham while the soup simmers. Garnish with croutons or chives and try not to change your mind.
