For In-Store and Local Pickup* purchases, all returns and exchanges must be made to the Hintonburg location. Eligible** regular-priced merchandise in its original condition, with packaging, are eligible for return within 30-days for either an exchange or refund. Please note the exceptions to this below.
Refunds can only be issued to the original purchaser using the original payment method (eg. Visa, Mastercard, Debit, or Cash). Gift recipients can receive an Exchange or Store Credit, but not a refund. We require that you provide your proof of purchase when returning an item; This can be either the receipt that was e-mailed to you, or simply a copy of the Order Number.
*Any online pickup orders not picked up within 3-weeks will be refunded with a 25% restocking fee applied to eligible items to cover our staff time. Ineligible items include dated (calendars, etc.) and perishable goods, which will not be refunded as they cannot be resold in-store.
**We do not accept returns or exchanges on dated items (including calendars & ornaments), perishable items (including all food items & plants), pre-made gift boxes, earrings, or any discounted items, which are all final sale. Custom furniture is exempt from any return or exchange, as well as bulk orders, or back orders for items not normally stocked in the store.
For Online Shipping Purchases, any regular priced merchandise in its original condition can be returned within 30-days of the order date, for exchange or store credit only (no refunds). We require that you provide your proof of purchase when returning an item. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, however, Maker House Co. will cover the shipping on the new order to the same address as the original order.
For Local Delivery Purchases, any regular priced merchandise in its original condition can be returned within 30-days of the order date, for exchange or refund (to the original purchaser). We require that you provide your proof of purchase when returning an item. Return delivery costs are the responsibility of the customer, however, Maker House Co. will cover the local delivery on the new order to be sent out.
If an item arrived damaged we can make exceptions to this policy. Please include photos of the shipping packaging and the product, so we can follow up with the courier company.
