An engineer by day, maker Alexandre Laquerre has a keen interest in design, photography, and urban planning. Alex has made a home for himself in Ottawa's Golden Triangle neighbourhood where he designs beautiful typographic word map posters of his own city as well as other Canadian cities.
Doing his silkscreening at home where he lives with his wife and young daughter, Alex looks to bring Ottawa's drastically different history to light and preserve a time when the city was run by pedestrians, not cars.
