Our store in Ottawa is located on traditional unceded territory of the Algonquin-Anishinaabe people. We want to build stronger connections and support our neighbours, both artists and members of Indigenous communities, across Canada and Turtle Island.

Maker House is proud to donate 50% of sales from this gift box to the Odawa Native Friendship Centre - celebrating over 50 years of dedicated programs and services to the Indigenous community in Ottawa and the surrounding region. We have donated over $40,000 from our #CraftChange Fund to various Indigenous organizations through 2025. Watch our Instagram for donation updates in June for Indigenous Peoples Month, and again on September 30th for Truth & Reconciliation Day.
