Payton's Perfect Pour Light Roast Coffee Beans 227g

This velvety single origin coffee is named after Artery Roasters friend Payton, an incredible 4 year old from the East Coast, who was diagnosed at 4 months old with a very rare brain disease called PCH. The Artery Roasters donates a portion of all of their sales to help Payton's wonderful family with out of pocket medical expenses.
Not only does this coffee have a great name and taste, it's also grown by an amazing group of producers, the Baho Ikizere Women group of Rwanda.

ORIGIN + VARIETY: SINGLE ORIGIN - Rwanda / Red Bourbon
TASTING NOTES: Big body + kiwi + lime zest

PROCESS: Washed
- ESPRESSO: This pulls a rich espresso shot that goes great with milk based drinks! We pull this as a traditional 1:2 shot.
- FRENCH PRESS/POUR OVER: for making this dark roast, we suggest using water that has cooled a bit form boil, as too hot water with a dark roast can create a harsh, over-extracted taste.
- If you don't have a kettle that can set the temperature, simply bring your kettle to a full boil, then let it rest for a minute or so before starting your bloom (the first pour where you wet the grinds to let the gas out).
- For POUR OVER, you can also grind a touch coarser than usual to avoid over extraction. And use a more slightly more generous ratio, like a 1:16 or 1:17.

Regine Light Roast Coffee Beans 227g

Regine is a farmer who is part of the Ikizere Women producers. Regine is a single mother, but beyond that she lives with the condition of albinism in a society that holds harmful beliefs about people like Regine. Not only does it typically lend itself to a type of social isolation, it’s common throughout Rwanda to believe that people with albinism possess magical or supernatural powers and as such, they are routinely subject to dehumanizing practices and violent attacks.
Grown on her tiny 0.6 hectare farm, this mircolot represents her entire production for the year which is a formidable production given that she manages the collection on her own, despite her concurrent issues with reduced vision and mobility.

Colombia accounts for one of the largest coffee producing countries in the world and rightly so. These coffees continue to impress us and our customers! This particular coffee is bold and has an amazingly sweet flavour overall. Top that with some fruity notes and you have yourself a nougat bar straight off the shelf.

Named after a man who with his amazing mind travelled to the farthest corners of space, from his power wheelchair!
This dark roast has a flavour that can only be described as out of this world.
This coffee comes to us from the amazing people at Baho Coffee, who operate the Fuji Washing Station in Rwanda's Southern province with care and ethics in mind. They believe in paying their workers fair wages and a pension, and supporting many all women farms for single and widowed women.
