#CraftChange Partners: Parkdale Food Centre
With a mission to provide healthy food, nutritional education, and a welcoming environment to anyone in need, choosing the Parkdale Food Centre as a #CraftChange partner was one of the easiest decisions we have ever made.
A staple in our neighbourhood, the Parkdale Food Centre (PFC) has been serving those who need food or toiletries in Ottawa’s Wellington West neighbourhood for many years.
Maker House is glad to be part of the mixed income neighbourhoods of Hintonburg and Mechanicsville. It gives us the chance to be a supporter of our neighbours when and where they need it.
Food is a right and we all deserve to have a warm meal on these cold winter nights, especially during the holiday season when so much giving occurs.
This is why we since 2017 we have donated over $12,000 to the PFC in support of their work. The only way we can grow is together, so thank you to all that support this amazing community centre. Together we can #CraftChange during the holiday season.
