I love creating art about seemingly everyday places, because they actually aren’t just any old places - they’re what make up our memories, identities, and our community.
Natalie Czerwinski is a self-taught artist specializing in ink and watercolour illustrations of landmarks, cityscapes and storefronts. She has been illustrating professionally out of her Toronto-based home studio since 2016. Her inspiration comes from how we connect with the seemingly everyday places around us - our local cafes, bookstores, movie theatres, fruit and vegetable markets, and more. Her style is simple, colourful, and cartoony, and strives to create a feeling of familiarity and comfort.
