As with all great ideas in history, Split Tree Cocktail Co. began over drinks. Owner and chief alchemist, Steve Morrier, invited his friends and family to his Ottawa home to taste six different tonic syrups he created. Numbering his cocktail creations 1 through 6, his friends-turned-testers overwhelmingly chose Tonic No. 3. as the winner, causing Steve to immediately put the handcrafted cocktail mix into production.
Using only whole fresh ingredients, no artificial preservatives, and nothing they can’t pronounce, each bottle of Split Tree Cocktail Co. syrup is a delicious way to spice up your cocktails. Simply mix an ounce of syrup and an ounce of your favourite spirit with 3 to 4 ounces of soda water and enjoy!
TV watchers may recognize the name Split Tree Cocktail. Steve appeared on the 10th season of CBC's Dragon Den, pulling off a deal with venture capitalist, Manjit Minhas, to help grow the company.

This cocktail mix balances the zip of fresh spicy ginger with the tartness of cranberry.
