All you have to do is wrap it around food or the top of your container - stay away from meat though! After each use, wash it with cold water and use natural soap if needed and air dry. When you're not using it (you'll want to use it daily) store it folded loosely. They last up to 150 uses with proper care, so they're a great replacement for things like aluminum foil and plastic wrap.
