This is an exceptional blend of a Colombian single producer (one farmer the Artery works directly with) and a Rwandan single origin (micro farms sharing the same farmland and growing the same variety). In addition to being a coffee that supports the employment of people with disabilities, and genuine direct trade relationships with farmers, it will also help raise money and awareness to help fight blood cancers in Canada.
This coffee is named after Mary, the mother-in-law of the Artery's owner and head roaster. Mary passed away from a rare blood cancer. Someone is diagnosed with a blood cancer in Canada every 23 minutes. A portion of all sales of this coffee with be donated to the Artery's friends and partners at the Leukaemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada.
Coffee with a conscience never tasted so good.
